Do you really want to know how the Government is getting away with these bailout amounts? The psychology behind this is really quite easy to understand. You see: Most people cannot assemble or construct defensive arguments when the subject matter is not comprehensible to them.
In other words: The human mind really cannot comprehend ONE TRILLION dollars, let alone SEVEN TRILLION SEVEN-HUNDRED SIXTY BILLION dollars.
Let me do my best to give you just an inkling of how much money this is:
Go ahead and count out-loud in a normal cadence. “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven….”
It will take you 32 days to reach 1 million.
It will take you 32 years to reach 1 billion.
It will take you 32,000 years to reach 1 trillion.
Now, just try to imagine how long 32,000 years is. Multiply this by 7.76 and you have just spent 248,320 years counting up to 7.76 trillion dollars.
